2023 Poultry Registration due March 31st

ATTENTION ALL POULTRY FARMERS IN SEBASTIAN COUNTY:
It is time to register your poultry farm for 2023!

We are asking everyone to give us a call at 479-431-3257 to make an appointment to fill out your 2023 registration along with mailing in the $10 registration fee. Please make an appointment before coming to the office.

Poultry Registration is open from January 1st, 2023 to March 31st, 2023.

Nutrient Management

We assist Sebastian and Crawford County landowners with soil testing and nutrient application recommendations in order to prevent nutrient runoff into our natural waterways and to improve forage production for our local farmers.  Free service, please contact office to set up appointment to create or update plan. 

Conservation Education

Whether you are a poultry farmer or a backyard laying hen keeper; a row crop farmer or a patio container gardener; the conservation district is here to help direct you to the information you need to be the best conservationist you can be  

EDucation Outreach

The district provides Education Outreach to Sebastian and Crawford County Schools. If you would like the district to present to your school, please contact our office to provide an excellent program for your school! 

Filter Cloth Sale

For use in landscaping, under rock in heavy use areas, and a variety of other purposes.  High quality filter cloth available for purchase in 15 ft. widths, custom length, on request. 
Cost: $2.25/square yard

Beaver Control

The district receives a certain amount of money per year to pay Sebastian County trappers $10 per beaver tail in order to control the damage beaver cause. Please contact the district to see if funds are available, and to discuss the rules of the program. 

Annual Tree Sale

In order to promote tree-planting and raise funds for district activities, we host an annual tree sale to provide trees to landowners at a low cost.
